The Governing Council currently comprises seven members, three of whom are appointed by the President of Liberia (the representations from the Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Liberia, and the General Auditing Commission), the serving president and vice president of the Institute, the immediate past president, and a members elected by the Annual General Meeting. These positions are currently held by the following individuals:
