Student Services
There are two categories of students in the various capacity building programs; these are students enrolled in the Syllabus Integration Program (SIP) at participating universities, and students who enroll into the Institute directly.
The SIP integrates the syllabi of the two certification programs of the Institute into the undergraduate accounting curriculum at participating universities. Students enrolled in the SIP complete the accounting technician certification program of the Institute in the first three years of their undergraduate sojourn, which qualifies them for a waiver of the first two parts of the professional certification program. They then complete the last two parts of the professional certification program in the senior year of their undergraduate studies.
A student who completes the SIP or the Institute’s professional certification program becomes eligible for enrollment into the Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (LICPA) as a CPA Liberia; and also qualifies for enrollment into the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) as a Chartered Accountant (CA) Ghana.
